Overview

Yombo Gateway installation for Debian based systems is very simple. Just run the following commands as the user you want to own the service. This can be your user account, or for increased security, this can be a separate account.

The script installs the software into /opt/yombo-gateway.

Lets do it

Open a new command prompt as the user who should own the service, then:

cd /tmp
wget https://get.yombo.net/debian
# Feel free to inspect this script before running.
sudo bash debian
rm debian

Start it up

Once the installation is complete, close the terminal window and open a new one, then run ybo start. This will start the Yombo Gateway in the terminal window.

Next steps

Now that installation is done, get running quickly using the Setup Wizard.
