Summary
Modules add capabilities to the Yombo gateway, this includes adding support for automation protocols. Before devices can be added to the gateway, a module must be installed that adds support for the device. For example, the ZWave module must be installed to control ZWave devices.
Add modules
Adding modules is simple:
- Open the web interface.
- Select Modules from the menu.
- Click the Install Module button near the top of the page.
- Search for a new module to install using the search box.
- Click on the module label.
- Review the module details and confirm this is the desired module to install.
- Click on Add module to gateway.
- Select the module version, always use Production unless you have a specific reason not to. Enter any module variables if required.
- Click on Add module to gateway when completed.
- A restart is required. The module will be downloaded and installed during the restart.
Edit modules
- Open the web interface.
- Select Modules from the menu.
- Find the module to be edited an click on Edit.
- Change values as desired.
- Click on Submit Module Information when done.
- Some modules require a gateway software restart to take affect.
Remove modules
Modules are easily removed, however, any devices that depend on the module will stop functioning.
- Open the web interface.
- Select Modules from the menu.
- Find the module to be removed an click on Remove.
- Enter remove into the confirmation box.
- Click on Remove Module
- Restart the gateway software for the changes to take affect.
Enable and disable modules
- Open the web interface.
- Select Modules from the menu.
- Find the module to be enabled or disable.
- From the Actions column, click on Disable or Enable for the module.
- Confirm action by typing the correct action box and click on the appropriate button.
