The localmodule.ini file at the root of the Yombo Gateway software can be used to load a locally created module. This is typically used for testing module development before publishing or create personal automation rules designed for your environment.

Getting started

To get started, first create or edit the localmodule.ini file at the root the Yombo Gateway software directory, usually located in /opt/yombo-gateway.

Creating an entry

A basic entry is very simple and looks like this:

mod_short_description=Turns on various lights when it's dark outside.

This above section specifics that it's a logic type module and provides a basic description. These details will be displayed when viewing the list of the module from the web interface.

After the entry is created, the gateway must be restarted!
